Buddhism Beliefs and Sacred Rituals

Good morning everyone,

Welcome to my inaugural posting here on blogger. Please forgive me for any breaches of protocol but this is a work in progress.

I have just returned from a month-long journey to India and Tibet and have found myself profoundly influenced by witnessing the magic of the Tibetan Buddhists. I arrived in India full of curiousity and anticipation for a land I have always dreamed of reaching.

What I found amidst the chaos of 1 billion people with an underlying calmness, a stillness that seemed to permeate across all levels of society. So often us from the West are caught up in the materialistic pursuits and neverending quests for something "more".

What we fail to realize and what I learned from my travels is that we already have "enough". All the glory and magic that is life, is, and has been here from the moment we took our first breath.

Stay tuned as we travel through this vast land and work our way up the beautiful and majestic mountaintops of the Himalayas.

Have a blessed day.
